No double for France

Shang prevented another double victory for France, by winning the women’s race. A victory that was never in doubt. At the finish line the Chinese ultra and trail runner had almost a three and a half hour lead over Marion Bachelerie (France), who finished second in 30:04:23. Behind the Raiders2000 athlete Mayumi Kimura (Japan) finished as third in 33:23:50 in this first edition of the Mauritius ultra trail race.
