I’m a bit of a lone wolf, I think. Maybe that’s why I love trail running so much. It gives me the time to be on my own.

I am sick. Fever. The worst kind. Every muscle in my body hurts, my head hurts, my throat hurts.

I’m feeling the Alfa Bear Trail of yesterday everywhere. Time to look at the biggest lessons it has taught me.

I feel empty now. Today’s 24 kilometers Alfa Bear Trail was beautiful, but hard with 580 meters of altitude.

It happened. Sara has gone wild. She registered for the Sussex 10k. A trail run with almost 400 meters of altitude.

The best news of today: Maus, our cat, doesn’t have a tumor. She's going to be fine. And my legs feel good.
